Fried butter mushrooms
Description
Butter mushrooms have a very distinctive cap, and that is where their name comes from, since it is quite slippery and oily. But these mushrooms are very tasty. When fried, they do not brown much because they are quite slippery, but their taste and aroma are amazing! To cook fried butter mushrooms, I recommend boiling them first, then they will be tastier. Serve the appetizer at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the mushrooms: rinse them thoroughly, and be sure to remove the slippery film from the caps. If the porous layer under the cap is too pronounced, trim that off as well.

Step 2

Then rinse the mushrooms a couple more times, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, cook for a couple of minutes, then drain the water. Fill again with cold water and bring to a boil once more. Cook for 15–20 minutes.

Heat a frying pan, pour in a little vegetable oil, add the boiled mushrooms, and add the onion diced into cubes. Salt well, add spices to taste and a bay leaf. Fry until the onion is fully cooked.
