
Fried chicken legs in a pan
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Fried chicken legs in a skillet go well with mashed potatoes. Place the chicken legs on a plate together with the remaining sauce, onions, and tomatoes. Pour the sauce over the mashed potatoes. Garnish the dish with fresh herbs. You can also add some herbs at the end of frying and mix them into the sauce. Fried chicken legs turn out very juicy and aromatic. Ginger and garlic give them a spicy flavor. Serve hot.

Prepare the chicken legs. Wash them thoroughly.

Mix plain yogurt with ground black pepper, crushed garlic, and minced ginger. Add lemon juice and stir well.

Place the chicken legs into a bowl with the marinade made from yogurt, ginger, garlic, and lemon juice. Coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Let marinate in the refrigerator for an hour.

Ten minutes before the marinating is finished, pour vegetable oil into a high-sided frying pan. Add finely chopped onion and sauté. When the onion becomes soft, add tomatoes cut into small cubes.

The tomatoes will release juice. Simmer the vegetables for about 10 minutes. Then add the chicken legs together with the marinade. When the marinade comes to a boil, reduce the heat to medium, add a little water (half a glass), and cover with a lid. Let the chicken legs simmer for about 10 minutes, until fully cooked.
