Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Shrimp can be purchased in medium or large sizes. If they are pink in color, the seafood has already undergone quick heat treatment, and the cooking time will be no more than 10–15 minutes, depending on the quantity.

Step 2

Set the multicooker display to "Sauté" mode for 15 minutes. Rinse the shrimp under water and drain them in a colander. If the seafood was frozen, be sure to thaw it completely and drain off all liquid. Add good-quality butter to the multicooker bowl and add the shrimp. Add salt and ground black pepper. Stir gently and sauté for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Then pour in the soy sauce, add ground dried garlic, and add the ketchup. You can replace the dried garlic with fresh garlic by pressing the peeled cloves directly onto the shrimp. Gently mix everything together.

Step 4

Open the appliance lid and cook the shrimp for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Once they are fully coated in the sauce and lightly browned, the dish is completely ready!

Step 5

Place the colorful shrimp on a plate or platter and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve hot at the table—they are best eaten piping hot, washed down with chilled beer, cider, fragolino, or white wine.
