
Fried Potato Pies with Sauerkraut
Description
It pairs perfectly with tea and coffee. Making such pastries is not a big effort. The dough is simple, and so is the filling. They are versatile, as they go well with any first course, as well as with tea or hot broth. You can add bell pepper to the filling if desired.

Prepare the filling for the pies. Sauté the sauerkraut in a pan for 15–20 minutes until soft. Cover the pan with a lid.

Peel and wash the onion and carrots, and cut them. Place them in a pan. Pour in sunflower oil.

Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the carrots with onions over low heat for 10–15 minutes.
