
Fried choux pastry
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. At first, I wanted to make something sweet with choux pastry, but then I remembered the minced meat in the fridge and decided to try making chebureki. This simple recipe for fried choux pastry will definitely come in handy. The dough is prepared very quickly, turns out dense yet elastic. Good luck!

Step 1

Boil water in a saucepan, adding vegetable oil and salt. Then remove from heat and add flour (1/2 cup), as well as an egg. Mix well.

We pile the flour into a mound on the table, make a depression in the center, and place the remaining mixture into it.

Knead a firm dough and let it rest for 20 minutes. Then divide the dough into balls. Roll each ball into a thin layer. Place the filling inside.

Form the chebureki. Fry them on both sides in butter (until a beautiful golden crust forms).
