
Fried pork with grapefruit
Description
If you don't like the taste of garlic, remove it after frying. Also, carefully remove the white membrane from the grapefruit. Even a small amount can spoil the dish's flavor.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Wash the pork and dry it with a paper towel. Cut into pieces 1 cm thick.

Wrap the pieces of meat in plastic wrap and pound well.

Heat 1.5–2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Sear the pounded meat pieces on both sides until half-cooked, forming a light crust. Do not discard the juice released during frying, as it will be useful later.

Transfer the fried meat to a plate.

Peel the grapefruit and remove the white pith. It must be thoroughly removed, otherwise the dish will be bitter. Cut the fruit flesh into small pieces. Peel and mince the garlic.

In the skillet where you fried the meat, add 1.5 tbsp of oil. Heat it up and add the garlic. Sauté until the garlic becomes fragrant and changes color. If desired, you can remove it.

Add honey to the garlic, mix well. Then add the chopped grapefruit, mix well.

Pour in the soy sauce, add pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring. Then simmer for one minute. If necessary, season with salt to taste. Temporarily remove from heat.

Cut the pork into thin pieces.
