Fried salmon
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Salmon, and indeed all salmon species, are a real lifesaver for twenty-first-century cooks. You come home from work in the evening, pressed for time, yet craving a good dinner. In such a case, fried salmon is simply the perfect choice. Just 20–30 minutes of effort—and you'll have a perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender fish on your plate. The recipe is quite simple, so even inexperienced cooks can prepare it successfully. Good luck! Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, cut the salmon fillet into portion pieces and rinse under running water.
- 2
Step 2

Then generously coat the fish with your favorite spices—I used Provence herbs.
- 3
Step 3

In a frying pan, heat a very small amount of oil and add the fish. Fry for about one and a half minutes on each side—no longer, as the fish is very tender. As soon as a crust forms, remove from the heat.
- 4
Step 4

In a saucepan, melt the butter, add flour to it, and lightly sauté.
- 5
Step 5

Add the spices and cream, then whisk with a whisk while continuing to heat the sauce over the fire. As soon as it thickens, remove from heat—the sauce is ready.
- 6
Step 6

And finally, let's prepare the side dish—cut the vegetables into long julienne strips.
- 7
Step 7

In a skillet with a small amount of oil over high heat, sauté the vegetables, stirring constantly (for those who know, this is called stir-fry). Just 3-4 minutes.

Step 8

All that's left is to serve this beauty at the table. Place the fish, pour over the sauce, and serve with a vegetable side dish. Done!
