Fried carp roe
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can serve the bright and golden fried caviar as a fish appetizer with any potato side dish: mashed potatoes, french fries, etc. It can be taken to work, on a trip, or to a picnic, remembering to include various sauces. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Thoroughly rinse the caviar in water on all sides. Use only fresh caviar!
- 3
Step 3

Then, carefully holding the skeins in your hands, remove the membranes from the roe and salt it. If you want to get a crispy crust on the roe, immediately after that, dip it in flour.
- 4
Step 4

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add the caviar pieces. Fry for about 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
- 5
Step 5

Then carefully flip the caviar to the other side, using a silicone spatula and a fork to assist. Fry for the same amount of time, covering the pan with a lid, as the caviar may start to "spit." During frying, it will change color from gray to bright orange.

Step 6

Place the fried carp roe on a plate and serve with any white-based sauce.
