Traditional fried beef
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Instead of a beef steak, you can use pre-sliced beef pieces. If desired, you can add a small amount of red wine to the beef. Fried beef goes well with mashed potatoes, as well as stewed or fresh vegetables. The finished dish can be served at the table.

Step 1

1. If you're using a beef steak, place it on a cutting board and trim off the large piece of fat. Then slice the steak into strips about 2.5 cm wide. Turn the board and cut the meat strips into small pieces. If you see any large pieces of fat or cartilage, cut them off.

Step 2

2. Generously season the beef with salt and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the salt and pepper are evenly distributed.

Step 3

3. Heat a skillet over high heat. Add about 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and melt it. When the butter turns light brown, add the meat.

Step 4

4. Place the beef on the skillet in a single layer. At this point, the oil should sizzle loudly. If it doesn't, the oil is not hot enough. Sear the meat for 30-45 seconds.
