Description
The base of these buns will be boiled potatoes, along with flour and semolina. Thanks to this combination, you get a very interesting dough that is easy to work with. The recipe can be complemented not only with basil but with any other herbs to taste. Serve the buns with warm and cold dishes, with soups, hot dishes, and sauces. They can be served with tea or coffee.

1. First, the potatoes need to be washed and boiled until tender in salted water.

2. The dough can be kneaded by hand or with the help of equipment. I do it in a bread machine. Peel the potatoes and grate them.

3. Add water and vegetable oil.

4. Add the salt, semolina, flour and yeast. That's it, now let it be kneaded. Leave the ready dough in a warm place for about an hour.

7. Arrange the balls on a baking sheet, gently pressing them down with your hand.

8. In a small bowl, combine vegetable oil, a pinch of salt and sugar, and dried basil.
