Italian pizza with chicken
Description
Delicious baked dish for the whole family. Whenever I start cooking pizza or any other Italian dish, I even play Italian music to set the mood. Olive oil, fresh basil, and Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses—all of it reminds me of Italy. And today, together with you, we'll be preparing pizza using the best recipe. Our Italian chicken pizza will turn out delicious and aromatic. Let's start with the dough. 1. I make the dough for Italian chicken pizza using milk, upon a friend's recommendation. So, beat the eggs in a deep bowl. Add olive oil and warm milk. Mix well. 2. Sift the flour. By the way, sifting flour is essential when making pizza—otherwise, the dough might end up lumpy. 3. Gradually pour the egg mixture with milk and olive oil into the flour, stirring continuously. 4. Knead the dough. Make sure to knead for at least 10 minutes. This is important. 5. Shape the dough into a ball. Place it into an olive oil-greased bowl and set aside in a warm place for 15 minutes to rest. 6. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). 7. While the dough is resting, prepare the filling. Cut chicken fillets into small pieces. Sauté them in olive oil on all sides until fully cooked. Season with salt to taste. Set the cooked chicken aside. 8. Prepare a baking sheet, lining it with parchment paper. Alternatively, you can grease it with olive oil. 9. Take out the dough, roll it into a round shape, and place it onto the baking sheet. 10. Spread tomato puree over the dough—you can also use ketchup or tomato sauce. 11. Finely chop the tomatoes, mix them with the cooked chicken, and spread this mixture over the tomato puree. 12. If you haven't already grated the Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses, do so now, then sprinkle them generously over the pizza. 13. Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. While the Italian chicken pizza is baking, finely chop some fresh basil. Once the pizza is ready, garnish it with the basil. Serve the pizza cooled down or slightly warm.
