
Italian Easter panettone
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Try the taste of Easter in Italy. Dissolve yeast with a pinch of sugar in warm milk and let sit for 15 minutes. Then mix in a bowl flour, sugar, vanilla, yeast, and melted butter. Add to the dough 4 whole eggs and 2 egg yolks, raisins, candied fruit, slightly toasted and chopped almonds, and lemon zest. Knead the dough and let it rest for about an hour. Grease Easter cake molds with butter and fill them one-third full with dough. Let them rest briefly, then bake for an hour at 180°C. Once cooled, glaze the cakes. Enjoy your holiday! Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Pour boiling water over the raisins and cover with brandy. Melt the butter. Dissolve the yeast with a pinch of sugar in warm milk and let stand for 15 minutes. Then mix in a bowl the flour, 100 grams of sugar, vanilla, yeast mixture, and butter.

Add 4 whole eggs and two egg yolks to the dough.

Add raisins, candied fruit, slightly dried and chopped almonds, and lemon zest. Knead the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 50–60 minutes.

Grease the Easter bread molds with butter, fill them one-third full with dough, let them rest for a while, then bake for an hour at 180 degrees. After that, let them cool.

Beat two egg whites with a pinch of salt, gradually adding 100 grams of sugar and lime juice. Pour the resulting icing over the finished buns, slightly dry in a warm oven, and decorate as desired.
