Italian bruschetta
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to make. Italian cuisine is my favorite. It’s so delicious and distinctive that I probably still haven’t mastered all of its dishes. Italian bruschetta is my family’s favorite appetizer. I make it for every holiday without exception! I recommend you try it too ;) It can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the bread. Ideally, it should be fresh. Take a sharp knife to cut the bread into even slices.
- 2
Step 2

Slice and spread butter on each slice. Melt the butter slightly, or better take it out of the refrigerator 20–30 minutes ahead so it softens. Spread to taste, in a thick or thin layer.
- 3
Step 3

Finely chop the garlic.
- 4
Step 4

Chop the basil.
- 5
Step 5

Mix in one bowl cherry tomatoes cut in half, garlic, basil, and balsamic vinegar.
- 6
Step 6

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread the filling on the bread slices.

Step 7

Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and arrange the bruschetta. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven until the cheese melts. Best served hot.
