
Irish Coffee Mousse
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Irish coffee mousse (flavor of coffee, chocolate, cream, and whiskey). Serve chilled.

Step 1

Pour 250 ml of milk, 250 ml of cream, and ½ vanilla pod into a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover with a lid, and let stand for 10 minutes.

Chop the chocolate into small pieces.

In a bowl, beat 3 egg yolks and 50 g of powdered sugar. Pour in the hot milk mixture, stirring constantly.

Pour the mixture through a sieve into a clean saucepan. Place over medium heat and cook until a cream forms. As soon as it's ready, add the chocolate.

Stir until all the chocolate has melted. Cover with a lid and let cool.

Chop 50 g of grapefruit candied peel into very small pieces.

Prepare the coffee mousse. Mix 50 ml of sugar syrup, 50 ml of cold coffee, 125 ml of cream, and 25 ml of whiskey. Whip into a thick foam. Before serving, prepare the molds. Fill them halfway with chocolate cream. Add a layer of nuts and candied fruits.

Fill almost to the top with chocolate cream. Then add a layer of coffee mousse on top. Serve immediately, otherwise the nuts and candied peel will lose their crunch.
