Irish cheesecake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Cheesecake is the most exquisite dessert, in my opinion. There are plenty of recipes for making it, but my family and I particularly love the Irish cheesecake—for its lightness and simplicity in preparation. You can top the cheesecake with powdered sugar! Be sure to try it—you'll be satisfied :) The dessert is ready. Serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Blend together 1 cup of nuts (reserve the second cup for decorating the cheesecake), cookies, and 2/3 cup of sugar in a blender.
- 2
Step 2

Spread the resulting mixture in a baking dish so that it follows the shape of the bottom and sides. Press it down so that it does not crumble.
- 3
Step 3

Mix Irish cream, eggs, and vanilla together. Beat well.

Step 4

Pour the prepared mixture into a baking pan with a ready-made crust. Leave enough space at the top to fill with cream after baking (as described below). Bake the Irish cheesecake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Let the cheesecake cool slightly after removing it from the oven. Whip the sour cream with white chocolate. Spread over the finished cheesecake and top with the remaining pecans. :)
