Caramel candies from condensed milk with cashews
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Making caramels at home is much easier than you think. They might look different from store-bought ones, but they will be much tastier. You'll know exactly what you've put in them—no artificial colors or "chemicals," only natural ingredients. Today I'm sharing my recipe. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, mix the sugar with water and place over heat.

When the syrup comes to a boil, reduce the heat and cook until bubbles begin to appear and the syrup becomes thick and sticky.

Add condensed milk and vanilla. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 20 minutes. The mixture should turn light brown.

Then add the nuts, mix well, and cook for another couple of minutes.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour in the mixture and spread it evenly over the surface.
