Yogurt in a multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Homemade yogurt is extremely healthy but perishable. It can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days. However, the advantage of this yogurt is that you can customize it to your liking. Jam, cocoa, coconut, vanilla, canned peaches, or fresh berries—you can use whatever you like! Different toppings will add a new twist to the familiar taste. Moreover, you can add cream to the milk to achieve a delicate creamy flavor. We offer you a simple recipe for making yogurt in a multicooker. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Boil the milk and cool it down to 37-40 degrees. The milk should be warm, but not hot.
- 2
Step 2

Add the starter culture—natural yogurt—to the yogurt and thoroughly mix the mixture.
- 3
Step 3

Take glass jars or glasses of the same size and wash them thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the jars.

Step 4

Place a paper towel or a small towel at the bottom of the multicooker. Carefully place the jars on the towel. Pour water into the multicooker bowl. Make sure the water covers the jars up to about three-quarters of their height (not higher than the necks of the jars).

Step 5

On the multicooker, select the "Warm"/"Yogurt"/"Keep Warm" program, set the time for one to one and a half hours. Periodically check the yogurt's consistency. Once the mixture thickens, turn off the multicooker and leave the yogurt inside for another hour. Then transfer the yogurt to the refrigerator. Once cooled, the yogurt is ready to serve.
