
Yogurt without a yogurt maker
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. For yogurt, as a starter, you can use a store-bought plain yogurt without additives or a packet of ready-made dry starter culture. You can add a little sugar if desired. Serve the finished dessert.

Only two ingredients are needed to make yogurt. Follow the proportions according to the starter culture instructions. The more milk you use, the thinner the yogurt will be.

Pour the milk into a saucepan, place over heat and bring to a boil. Then cool the milk to a warm state, approximately 36-38 degrees.

Pour a little milk into a glass and dissolve the starter culture in it. You can add sugar at this stage.

Then mix the dissolved starter culture into the entire milk.

Pour the milk into prepared jars (or any other container). For safety, the jars can be sterilized.

Preheat the oven to 40 degrees, place the yogurt jars inside. Turn off the oven and leave the yogurt for 6–8 hours. You can additionally wrap the jars in a warm blanket. Then transfer the yogurt to the refrigerator to set.
