Interesting Appetizers
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Before serving, I recommend keeping the appetizer in the refrigerator for a while. But don't leave it too long, or the dish may leak a bit and lose its appetizing appearance. I like to serve this appetizer on a buffet table. A second version of this appetizer: replace some of the cabbage with grated mozzarella—it will be very tasty too. Serve with herbs and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, prepare the ingredients, wash the tomatoes well, and boil the cabbage until tender in salted boiling water.
- 2
Step 2

Cut off the stem end from the tomatoes. Then make 4–5 deep cuts, accordion-style, but do not cut all the way through.
- 3
Step 3

Lightly drain the boiled cabbage to remove excess liquid, mash it with a fork into a puree, add parsley, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix the mixture well.
- 4
Step 4

Now stuff the cuts in the tomatoes with the filling, packing it down more tightly.
- 5
Step 5

To keep the appetizers looking nice, wipe the tomato with a napkin if it has filling on it.
- 6
Step 6

Place the tomatoes on a serving dish, put olives where the stem was. Garnish the dish.
