Description

Rinse the lentils thoroughly and drain in a colander to remove all water. Dice the onion and mince the garlic. In a saucepan, lightly sauté the garlic with the onion.

When the onion is sautéed, add the lentils and pour in the water. Add all the spices. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
