Indian naan bread
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. I first tried Indian naan bread in India. I was absolutely delighted and ate nothing else for two weeks. Actually, for locals, naan is just regular bread, but it's nothing like our bread. It can't even be compared to the more familiar lavash or Spanish tortillas. An incredibly tasty baked product that goes well with both sweet and savory dishes. Let me tell you how.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare warm water, sugar, and yeast.
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve the yeast in warm water (help with your hands), then add the sugar and whisk until a light foam appears, using a whisk for about 10 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Then, in a separate container, beat the milk, egg, and salt, gradually add the flour, and knead the mixture for about 8 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Gradually mix the flour with the yeast mixture.
- 5
Step 5

Then sprinkle the countertop and hands with flour and knead by hand. Do this with love :)
- 6
Step 6

Then place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise at room temperature for an hour. During this time, the dough should rise well.
- 7
Step 7

Divide the risen dough into medium-sized pieces. You should get about 10-15 pieces. Place them on a tray, cover with a towel, and let rest for another 30 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Then preheat the oven to maximum temperature (mine is 260 degrees) and roll out each piece into a small flatbread.
- 9
Step 9

Place the flatbreads onto a baking sheet lined with foil and bake in the oven for 2-3 minutes, then remove the baking sheet, flip the flatbreads, and bake for another 2-3 minutes.
