Turkey in a wok
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Turkey meat is tasty and healthy. Let's cook it in a wok—it's quick and delicious. This simple turkey wok recipe will help you prepare a flavorful dish with subtle Asian notes. Here's the recipe: 1. Slice the turkey fillet into thin pieces and place them into a deep bowl. Pour over a mixture of soy sauce and honey, mix well, and set aside. 2. Peel the onion, garlic, and pepper. Finely chop the garlic, and slice the onion and pepper into thin strips. 3. Heat the wok, add a spoonful of oil, and sauté the garlic for about half a minute. Then add the sliced pepper and cook for 1.5 to 2 minutes. Next, add the onion and sauté for another minute. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a plate. 4. Add more oil to the wok and sear the turkey pieces in small batches. 5. Once all the meat is cooked, return all the ingredients to the wok. Add ground pepper, and optionally some tomato sauce. Mix everything together and cook for another 5 minutes. You can cover the wok with a lid and reduce the heat so the dish gently simmers. Serve the finished dish hot.
