Turkey in soy sauce in a pan
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Turkey cooks quickly, almost as fast as chicken, yet its flavor is in no way inferior to pork. To prepare turkey in soy sauce on a skillet, we'll need turkey fillet, and for the marinade—besides soy sauce—liquid honey, spices, and vinegar. The original recipe calls for rice vinegar, but it can be substituted with regular apple cider vinegar. The finished dish can be served immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the turkey fillet and cut it into portion pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Mix olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, spices, garlic pressed through a garlic press, grated ginger root, and sesame oil in a deep bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Thoroughly dip the turkey into the resulting mixture, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 2 hours. The longer the turkey absorbs the sauce, the better it will be.

Step 4

You can cook well-marinated turkey not only in a pan, but also bake it in the oven (30 minutes at 190°C). Pat the pieces dry with paper towels, then sear them in a preheated pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side, until a golden crust forms. For the best results, use a grill pan. Serve the cooked soy sauce turkey with vegetables, potatoes, or rice.
