Turkey with apples in a multicooker

Description

The recipe won't take much time. It's quite a simple turkey with apples recipe made in a multicooker, so I'm sure even kitchen beginners will manage it without any trouble. The special charm of this dish is that the apples almost turn into a puree and virtually disappear during cooking, yet the entire dish becomes infused with a delicate sweet-and-sour apple flavor, which perfectly complements the tender turkey. Also, this time I used turkey legs, but I recommend using turkey breast—it will turn out even more tender. Good luck! Serve hot.

Instructions

    Step 1

    1. First, I soak the mushrooms separately until they swell, then simmer them with water in a skillet for about half an hour. If you don't want to dirty extra dishes, put the mushrooms in the multicooker first and cook them in "Stewing" mode for an hour, then add everything else. I preferred the first method, so while the mushrooms are simmering on the stove, I brown the turkey legs in the multicooker using the "Sauté" mode for about half an hour. Add spices and oil to taste.
