Turkey with cranberry sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. 1. First, wash the fillet and dry it. With a sharp knife, make a cut to open up the chicken breast. 2. Place the fillet on a sheet of food wrap, cover with another sheet on top, and gently pound on both sides. Be careful not to tear the meat. 3. Remove the wrap, then season the fillet with salt and pepper on all sides. 4. Place softened butter into a small bowl. Add pressed garlic and chopped herbs. You can use either fresh or dried herbs in the turkey recipe with lingonberry sauce. The more varied the herb mix, the more aromatic the dish will be. 5. Add nuts, previously crushed slightly. 6. Squeeze the juice of about half a lemon into the bowl and mix everything thoroughly. 7. Spread the resulting mixture evenly over the fillet. Carefully roll it up tightly into a roll. 8. Take bacon slices and wrap them around the roll—this will make the turkey with lingonberry sauce juicier and help the roll keep its shape. 9. Wrap the roll in a sheet of foil. Place it in an ovenproof dish and put it into a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F). 10. Bake for about 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180°C (356°F) and continue baking for another 30 minutes. Carefully remove the foil and let the roll brown for an additional 15–20 minutes. 11. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Place the berries in a small saucepan and add sugar. Put on the stove and bring to a boil. 12. Reduce heat to low, pour in balsamic vinegar, and let it simmer until the sauce thickens sufficiently. Serve hot.
