
Ginger lemonade with honey
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. No one will refuse a glass of chilled ginger lemonade on a hot afternoon. Be sure to cool the beverage in the refrigerator before serving, and don't forget to add ice. Optionally, you can add a bit of colorful syrup if you'd like a more vibrant drink. Serve chilled.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Mineral water can be purchased carbonated or non-carbonated.

Peel the ginger root, rinse it, and slice it or cut into small cubes—whichever is more convenient. Add it to a pitcher or jar, the container in which you will be preparing the lemonade.

Scald half a small lemon or a quarter of a large one with boiling water, slice it and remove the seeds. Place the lemon slices into a container with ginger, and add honey as well. The key is to taste the sweetness before adding honey to ensure it doesn't have a bitter aftertaste.

Pour the mineral water into the container and stir thoroughly until the honey dissolves in the liquid. Refrigerate the drink for about 30-40 minutes.
