Ginger tea with lemon for colds
Description
To prepare the drink, you can use either black or green tea, although you can also do without it. Choose sugar or honey to taste. The main thing is that neither you nor your family members should have an allergy to bee products! The tea is best enjoyed hot, as it is not as tasty when cold.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Add sugar to the teapot, slice part of the lemon into pieces, remove the seeds, and add them to the teapot. If you plan to use floral honey instead of sugar, simply serve it in a separate small bowl so guests can add it to slightly cooled tea; otherwise, honey poured with boiling water will lose its beneficial properties.

Step 3

Peel a piece of ginger root and slice it thinly or grate it using a fine grater. Do not add too much of this ingredient, so the drink doesn't become overly bitter. Add the ginger slices to the container. Place in the tea bag.

Step 4

Bring water to a boil and pour the boiling water into the teapot. Close the container with a lid and let it steep for about 5-10 minutes, remembering to remove the tea bag once it has colored the liquid and imparted its aroma.

Step 5

Serve hot ginger tea with lemon at the table with sweet pastries, poured into cups or glasses.
