Cod roe
Description
You can adjust how done the caviar is. Cool the finished caviar, then serve it with a piece of rye or white bread. You can cut it into pieces or spread it like butter. Store the caviar in the refrigerator in an airtight container so it does not dry out. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions

Step 1
Place the cod roe in a colander, rinse it thoroughly under running water, then transfer it to a paper towel.
- 2
Step 2
Pour a small amount of water into a sauté pan to cover the roe, add salt and pepper, and vinegar.
- 3
Step 3
Place the saucepan on the heat and bring to a boil, then add the caviar to the boiling water and reduce the heat to the lowest setting. If the water is still bubbling vigorously, turn off the heat; after a couple of minutes, turn it back on so the water does not cool down.

Step 4
