
Khvorost with sour cream
Description
There are many recipes for making khvorost: with kefir, milk, whey. My khvorost is with sour cream. I made half of the suggested portion. Everything is very simple, very quick, and very tasty. Sprinkle the finished dish with powdered sugar and serve with tea, milk, or compote.

Prepare the ingredients for making khvorost.

Put the sour cream in a bowl.

Add salt, baking soda, and sugar.

Mix the sour cream with sugar, baking soda, and salt.

Add the egg and flour.

Knead a firm, elastic dough.

Roll out the dough into a sheet 0.5 cm thick. Cut it into strips about 3 cm wide and 10 cm long. Make a slit in the middle of each strip.

Pour refined sunflower oil into a skillet or a heavy-bottomed pot. Heat it well and pour in the dough.
