Khushuur
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For some, homemade khuushuur are similar to chebureki, while others might call them meat pastries, but in any case, I recommend trying this dish at home. You can experiment with the filling, using any combination of different meats. Serve with tea or coffee.

Step 1

1. The dough is quite simple: mix the eggs and a pinch of salt with the flour, then add water. Knead a firm dough (but slightly softer than for dumplings) and set aside for now. Here are all the ingredients you'll need for the filling.

Step 2

2. Grind the washed and dried meat, add finely chopped onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add spices to taste. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3

3. Roll out the dough fairly thin and cut out circles. Place the filling in the center and brush the edges with beaten egg yolk. Now you can start shaping the hushoor at home.

Step 4

4. Fold the circle in half, and press the edges together with a fork, creating these striped patterns. In this case, the "meat pears" will be small, but you can make them larger.

Step 5

5. Finish shaping the dumplings, and at the same time prepare a deep frying pan or pot for deep frying. Put in the fat or vegetable oil and heat thoroughly.

Step 6

6. Here is such a simple way to make khushuur. Just fry until golden brown and serve. Very delicious!
