Crispy Chicken Sticks
Description
Crispy chicken sticks will win the hearts of both you and your family. After frying, place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. This recipe for crispy chicken sticks rightfully deserves to be called a family tradition. My grandmother used to make these, using dried bread specifically for breading. Sometimes I serve the sticks as a main course with mashed potatoes or a fresh vegetable salad. Other times, I simply offer them as a snack to guests. They pair wonderfully with both spicy and creamy sauces.

Beat the eggs. Pour them into a shallow plate. This will make it easier to dip the chicken fillet pieces.

Step 3

Cut the chicken fillet into thin, long strips. Dip the pieces of chicken first into the eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.

Place the chicken strips on the heated oil. It's better to use a pan with high sides, as the oil will splatter. Fry until a crispy crust forms on both sides.
