Description
Cooking with children is pure joy. Especially baking. Their imagination knows no bounds! The important thing is not to stop them from expressing themselves. My older daughter came up with the "Dachshund" hot dog. We spent a long time picking out the eyes, and until we thought of anything better, we used black peppercorns. If you have other ideas, share them! I hope you enjoy this treat. The "Dachshund" hot dog will be a hit at the kids' table. The snack is ready. Serve right away.

Step 1
First, prepare the dough. Mix the dry yeast, sugar, and warm milk. Place in a warm spot for 15 minutes. Then add flour, vegetable oil, and salt. Add warm water as needed. Place in a warm spot again for 30 minutes. When the dough is ready, divide it into portions: three small ones and one large one. From the large portion, roll out a flat round, place a sausage in the center, and wrap it in the dough.

From the remaining pieces, shape the legs and ears. Place the “Dachshund” hot dog on a baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 20–25 minutes.

Use black pepper to make eyes for the "Dachshund", and an olive for the nose. Warn your children that the eyes are not for eating.
