Aspic from Canned Stewed Meat with Gelatin
Description
The appetizer is prepared quickly and simply. A tasty and juicy aspic must be on the festive table—for example, at New Year's. You can prepare the dish in as little as 3 hours, provided you have the necessary ingredients. The main thing is to taste the broth before pouring it in. Serve with greens and sauce.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. If the canned stewed meat is too fatty, use hot water instead of broth.
- 2
Step 2

Place the stewed meat in a pot or cauldron, pour in the broth, add salt and bay leaves. Place the vessel on the stove and bring its contents to a boil.

Step 3

Turn off the heat and taste the broth, adjusting it if necessary. Sprinkle in the gelatin, stir to combine, and let stand for 5 minutes. Then thoroughly stir the bloomed gelatin into the liquid.

Step 4

Pour the liquid with pieces of meat into bowls and deep plates and let cool for about 30–40 minutes at room temperature, then refrigerate for another 2–3 hours.

Serve the ready-made jellied meat from stewed canned meat with gelatin chilled, with mustard and bread.
