
Pumpkin bread pudding

First, cut the pumpkin in half and remove the core. Cut into pieces and bake in the oven until soft. Then blend the pumpkin flesh into a puree using a blender. We will need 2 cups of puree.

Cut the braid into pieces or tear it by hand.

We break the eggs into a bowl and add salt.

And beat for just a minute.

Add the cream and milk and beat again for one to one and a half minutes.

Add the cooled pumpkin purée.

Add sugar (regular and vanilla), nutmeg, cinnamon, and grated ginger.

And mix thoroughly until smooth.

Grease the baking dish with vegetable or butter and place the braid pieces inside. You can add chopped nuts, raisins.

And pour the resulting pumpkin-egg-cream mixture over them. Gently stir the bread pieces to allow the mixture to evenly penetrate between them.

And let it sit for about 15 minutes, allowing the bread pieces to soak up the mixture.

Then place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40-50 minutes. Want to get a baked crust? Then for the last 10 minutes, bake only the top of the pudding.
