Garlic bread
Description
It pairs perfectly with tea or coffee. No matter how good a soup or main course you make, if you serve it with freshly baked fragrant garlic bread, that bread will steal the spotlight of the whole meal. The bread turns out soft and crumbly, and thanks to the garlic, very fragrant. The key is to follow the recipe precisely and take your time. Good luck. Serve cooled or lightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Start kneading the dough right in the bread machine. Add flour, salt, yeast, milk, water, and honey, mix well, and shape into a ball.
- 2
Step 2

In the bread machine, select the “dough” program and set it for one and a half hours. The dough should increase in volume noticeably.
- 3
Step 3

Meanwhile melt the butter, stir in finely chopped garlic and dill. Divide the dough into 11–12 pieces, roll each piece into a thin flatbread, and spread each with the fragrant flavored butter.
- 4
Step 4

Stack the flatbreads one on top of another, shaping them something like an accordion.
- 5
Step 5

Let the dough rest for about 40 minutes, then in the bread machine select the “Bake” program and set the timer to 50 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

All that remains is to cool the finished bread on a rack and serve it fresh at the table.
