Instructions
- 1
Step 1

So, let's start with the dough. Sift the flour, add the yeast, milk, sugar, salt, melted butter. Knead the dough.
- 2
Step 2

Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise for 1 hour. The dough should double in size.
- 3
Step 3

When the dough has risen and doubled in size, you can start preparing the pie.
- 4
Step 4

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll out the first piece of dough into a circle with a diameter of 25 cm.
- 5
Step 5

Place the dough on parchment. In the center, spread pesto sauce in a circle and a thin line around the entire perimeter.
- 6
Step 6

Place thinly sliced sausages or ham on the pesto sauce.
- 7
Step 7

For the next layer, place thinly sliced cheese slices. Repeat all the layers once more.
- 8
Step 8

Roll out the second piece of dough into a similar circle and place it on top of the filling. Trim the excess dough around the circle. In the center, mark a circle; I usually press it slightly with a glass.
- 9
Step 9

Now cut the edges of the pie, without touching the center, into equal pieces, as shown in the photo.
- 10
Step 10

Unfold each piece upward with the filling. Add a spoon of pesto sauce to the center and spread it. Leave the pie for another 20 minutes on the table; the dough should spread a little more.
- 11
Step 11

Place the pie in a preheated 180°C oven for 30 minutes. The dough should be baked and the filling ready. The pie can be served.
