Hake stewed with vegetables
Description
Delicious and juicy fish with vegetables is very easy to prepare, and it's practically impossible to ruin this dish. It will especially appeal to those with stomach issues and those who avoid fried foods. We won't pre-fry either the fish or the vegetables, making the dish almost diet-friendly. In addition to onion and carrot, you can add other vegetables such as bell pepper or zucchini, giving the dish new flavors and aromas. Now let me tell you how.

Step 3

Add salt, sugar, and pepper to the vegetables. Cut the cleaned fish into pieces of desired size and place them on top of the vegetables. Pour in boiling water until it barely covers the fish. Place on the heat and, once it comes to a boil, add the bay leaf. Simmer covered over low heat for 20 minutes.
