
Lamb hashlama in a multicooker
Description
The perfect dish to prepare in a multicooker is Armenian-style khashlama. To make it, roughly chop the meat and vegetables. Pour a little vegetable oil into the multicooker and layer the ingredients in the following order: onion, carrot, half of the tomatoes, half of the eggplant, and meat. At this stage, season with salt and dried marigold (khmeli-suneli) to taste. Then add layers of pepper, the remaining half of tomatoes and eggplant. Top with fresh herbs, add more salt and seasoning. Cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Garnish the finished dish with herb sprigs and serve.

Chop the vegetables and meat coarsely. Pour a little vegetable oil into the bottom of the multicooker bowl and layer the vegetables and meat. First, place the onion, carrots, and half of the tomatoes.

Then a layer of half the eggplant.

Next, place the lamb. Season with salt and sprinkle with khmeli-suneli spice to taste.

Place the remaining vegetables – pepper, the second half of the tomatoes, and eggplant. Sprinkle with fresh herbs, add salt to taste, and season with spices. Do not add water, as enough juice will be released during cooking.

Set the "Stew" mode for 1 hour 20 minutes. Garnish the finished dish with sprigs of fresh herbs.
