
Khachapuri with spinach and cheese
Description
Tasty baked goods for the whole family. There are many dough variations for khachapuri, and if you have a favorite, feel free to use it. As for the filling, you can always experiment with both cheese and herbs, using fresh or frozen spinach. The flatbreads are best served hot, but they remain very tasty even when cold. A great snack at home or in the outdoors.

This is the set of ingredients we will use to make spinach and cheese khachapuri.

To begin, sift the flour into a deep bowl and add the salt.

Pour in the kefir and add the soda.

Knead a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, wash, dry, and chop the spinach. Place it in a skillet with a small amount of butter and sauté for a couple of minutes.

Add grated cheese. It is best to use suluguni, but you can use any other cheese. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.

Pinch off a piece of dough and roll it out into a thin sheet.

Place the filling in the center.

Gather the edges and pinch them tightly.

Flip the flatbread seam side down, gently roll it out with a rolling pin, and place it onto a preheated dry skillet.
