Cheese Khachapuri in a Multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I really love all kinds of baked goods, so I often treat myself and my family to something delicious. Khachapuri is one of our favorite dishes. I used to cook it on a skillet, but since we recently got a multicooker, I decided to try making these flatbreads in it. As expected, the experiment was a success, so I'm eager to share this recipe with you and explain how to make cheese khachapuri in a multicooker. The preparation principle is the same as in the classic version, only we'll let the dough rise and cook the khachapuri using the appliance. The little flatbreads turn out absolutely amazing—very aromatic and tasty. You can enjoy them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Be sure to try making cheese khachapuri in a multicooker at home; this treat will definitely be loved by everyone.

Step 1

Add yeast, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of flour to warm milk, set the starter aside in a warm place for 15 minutes. After that, pour in the matsoni, add most of the flour, and break in the egg. Begin kneading the dough, gradually adding more flour, along with salt and melted butter. Knead until the dough becomes soft, elastic, and stops sticking to your hands. Shape the dough into a ball, place it into the bowl of a multicooker greased with vegetable oil, select the "Dough" setting and set the time for 1 hour. When the time is up, punch down the dough and return it to the bowl for another half hour.

Step 2

Towards the end of the dough proofing, grate the cheese on a coarse grater, add eggs and butter, and mix everything together. Divide the ready dough into 9–10 equal portions and roll each portion into a flat pancake. Place a little filling in the center of each pancake, tightly seal the edges over the top, then roll the khachapuri slightly with a rolling pin to give it a flat shape. Repeat the same process with the remaining pieces of dough.

Step 3

Now grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil and place the flatbread in it. Select the "Baking" mode and fry the khachapuri for about 15-20 minutes on each side. Before frying, make a small hole in the center of the flatbread to prevent it from puffing up.

Step 4

Place the ready flatbreads on a serving plate, and once they have cooled slightly, serve the khachapuri.
