Instructions
- 1
Step 1
To prepare the dough, sift the flour into a dry deep bowl and add the active dry yeast. You can also use regular yeast, provided you soak it in water for 15 minutes beforehand to activate. Add salt and sugar.
- 2
Step 2
Mix the milk and water. Warm to room temperature. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Knead the dough by hand until a smooth consistency is achieved.
- 3
Step 3
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- 4
Step 4
To prepare the filling, boil three eggs hard. Then grate the eggs and cheeses on a coarse grater and mix them together. There is no need to add salt to this mixture, as the cheeses are already quite salty.
- 5
Step 5
Then add vegetable oil to the dough and knead thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved. Divide the dough into four parts.
- 6
Step 6
Roll out into small ovals. Fold the edges of the dough to form a "boat."
- 7
Step 7
Fill the resulting "boat" with the filling and place it on a preheated baking sheet.
- 8
Step 8
Bake for about 10 minutes at 250 degrees.
- 9
Step 9
Remove from the oven and pour an egg into the boat. Then return to the oven for 3 minutes.
- 10
Step 10
Serve the boats hot. To eat them properly, break off the edges and dip them into the egg. They will also be delicious when reheated in the microwave.
