
Khachapuri
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. These khachapuri will make a wonderful addition to your lunch or dinner. These flatbreads can also be served as a standalone dish, as they are quite filling and nutritious. You can take them with you on a picnic and they will be a great addition to your barbecue spread. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.

For the filling, mix grated cheese and blanched spinach (squeeze out the liquid if necessary).

For the dough, mix all the ingredients and leave in a warm place until the dough rises. Then divide the dough into 300-gram portions.

Form small flatbreads from each piece, place about 150 g of filling in the center, leaving a small border around the edge. Pinch the edges together, shaping the flatbread into a boat-like form. Then flip the flatbread over so the seam is facing down, and make a cut in the middle, opening up the filling. You can add a bit more filling if desired.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and bake the khachapuri for 5–10 minutes until golden. Then crack 1 egg into each boat and bake for another 2–3 minutes, until the egg white thickens.
