Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Thaw the puff pastry at room temperature and unfold it on the table. Peel the onion and carrot. Separate the egg into yolk and white.
- 2
Step 2

Finely chop the onion with a knife, grate the carrot on the finest grater. Add the vegetables to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper, and add the egg white. Mix the meat mixture well.

Step 3

Simply lay the puff pastry on the table, lightly dusting the surface with flour. Use a large glass to cut out circles. Keep half of the circles for the gusariki bases. The other half will be used for the tops. With a small shot glass, make small holes in these top circles. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each base circle, being careful not to get filling on the edges. Moisten the edges with water to help them stick together. Cover each base with a perforated circle, ensuring some filling remains inside. Neatly crimp the edges with a fork.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and let it warm up. Place the gusariks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 5
Step 5

Brush the dough with egg yolk using a silicone brush. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Watch carefully!

Step 6

The gusariki are ready! Remove from the baking sheet and serve hot. Enjoy!
