
Goose in a pot
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The goose cooked in a pot turns out tender, juicy, and simply melts in your mouth. This is a hearty, standalone dish that can be served with vegetables and sprinkled with fresh herbs. Cooking goose in a pot is very easy—try it yourself using my recipe. Cut the goose meat into pieces, wash, salt and pepper.

Sear it in a pan for 7-10 minutes. The juice released during frying will later be added to the baking dishes.

Chop the onion and carrots into pieces.

Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes.

Fry the onion until golden brown.

Place the goose meat into the pots, then add the potatoes, and top with onions and carrots. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add goose roasting juice and a little water to each casserole dish. Sprinkle with herbs. Place in the oven to simmer for 1 hour at 180 degrees.
