
Goose stewed in pieces with apples
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Any food cooked outdoors automatically becomes two or even three times tastier. Kebabs and fish soup aren't the only popular dishes, so don't limit yourself. Goose stewed with apples, especially in a cauldron, turns out wonderfully delicious and aromatic. Serve hot.

1. I wash the bird and cut it into pieces. I heat the kazan well and place the fattiest parts of the carcass into it, fry them, and render out the fat.

2. Meanwhile, peel and chop the onion and garlic.

3. Remove the goose from the cauldron and add onion with garlic to the rendered fat, sauté for 3-5 minutes, then add paprika.

4. Return all the goose pieces to the saucepan, pour in the wine, and cook for 30-45 minutes.

5. Rinse the sauerkraut and chop it more finely. Peel the apples and remove the cores, then cut them into large cubes.

6. Add cabbage and apples to the cauldron after half an hour, pour in water to cover the contents of the cauldron. Add salt and pepper (paprika) to taste, then simmer over low heat until the cabbage is tender and the goose is cooked.
