Goulash with bell pepper
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Today I will be cooking pork goulash, but you can use beef or any other boneless, sinew-free meat. The abundance of vegetables will make this goulash rich and aromatic, and the dish will undoubtedly appeal even to children. It's a great way to feed your whole family heartily and deliciously. I recommend giving it a try. Serve the finished dish immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients from the list. Wash the meat and pat it dry. Use spices to your taste. I'm using paprika and a ready-made stew seasoning mix.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the meat into small pieces and place on a heated frying pan with oil.
- 3
Step 3

Sear over high heat until the meat develops a light brown crust.
- 4
Step 4

Add the onion, diced, and the carrot, cut into pieces of any size. I like a coarse chop here, but you can even just grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
- 5
Step 5

Fry the meat with vegetables, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Clean the sweet pepper, cut the flesh into strips. Add to the meat.
- 7
Step 7

Continue cooking for about 3 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Then add tomato paste, diced garlic, and spices to taste.
- 9
Step 9

Cook for another 3 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

After some time, sprinkle the contents of the pan with flour and mix.
- 11
Step 11

Add hot water in parts. Add sugar, bay leaf, and adjust the salt.
- 12
Step 12

Simmer the meat and vegetables in the sauce over the lowest heat for 30 minutes, until the pork is tender. Cover the pan with a lid. Stir the mixture occasionally to prevent the thickening sauce from burning.
- 13
Step 13

The goulash with bell pepper is ready. Serve the finished dish on plates, accompanied by your favorite side dish.
