Hungarian-style goulash with beans

Description

The recipe won't take much time. You can replace fresh beans with canned beans in tomato sauce. This way, you won't need to use tomato paste or cook the beans beforehand (which takes a lot of time). Traditionally, beans should be boiled and then stewed with tomatoes and meat. See the recipe. Serve hot.

    1. Cut the beef into medium or large pieces—your preference. Place the meat in a frying pan and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil.

    2. Fry until fully cooked and golden brown. Add onion and carrot, cook over low heat for another 5 minutes.

    3. The beans need to be soaked beforehand, or better yet, left in cold water overnight. Cook the beans until tender.

    4. At the end of frying the meat, add tomato paste and beans, then pour in a glass of water, cover with a lid, and simmer for about half an hour over low heat.

    5. I blanch the potatoes separately and add them to the meat, cook until done, and serve with sauce.
