Czech-style goulash

Description

The Czechs borrowed the recipe from the Hungarians, made a few changes, and ended up with a very tasty dish. This simple Czech-style goulash recipe will allow you to prepare a delicious and filling lunch, or even dinner for someone particularly hungry. Porridge or potatoes make good side dishes for this goulash. But the Czechs would recommend preparing dumplings (knedle). That way, you'll have an authentic Czech meal. Here's how to make Czech-style goulash.

    Peel the onion, finely chop and fry in lard on a frying pan.

    Wash the beef, remove the films, and cut into small pieces.

    About 10 minutes before the dish is ready, thicken the sauce. To do this, mix the flour in a separate container with a small amount of liquid from the goulash, stirring well to avoid lumps. Pour it back into the goulash and mix thoroughly.
