Goulash with beer
Description
Delicious meat dish with a subtle hint of malt is very easy to prepare. My guests, after trying this goulash, spent a long time guessing what seasoning I had added. They couldn't believe me when I told them the recipe was for beer goulash. I had to gather a big group at my cottage and demonstrate the process. Now I'm sharing with you how to make goulash with beer.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings.
- 2
Step 2

In a heavy-bottomed pot or large skillet, heat vegetable oil and sauté onion with cumin. Cook the onion until it turns light golden.
- 3
Step 3

We clean the peppers from seeds, wash them, and cut into medium-sized cubes. Do not chop too finely!
- 4
Step 4

Add the peppers to the onions, then add the tomato paste. Stir and fry for about 4-5 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

We wash the meat, dry it, and cut it into pieces.
- 6
Step 6

Place the meat with the vegetables, add finely chopped garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- 7
Step 7

Pour beer over everything and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot loosely with a lid, and simmer the stew for about 1.5 hours.
