Beef veal goulash with sauerkraut
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. At first glance, it may seem a bit unusual. But once you try making it, you'll find yourself preparing it quite often. It is served as a standalone dish, turns out very tasty, and all the ingredients complement each other perfectly. The finished dish can now be served at the table.

Step 1

1. For this dish, we will need veal. So, cut the meat into medium-sized pieces and place them in a frying pan. After slightly browning, add onion and spices. Now your task is to fry the meat until it turns golden brown.

Step 2

2. Slice the tomatoes and add them to the meat, then add enough water to cover the contents. I cook everything together in a sauté pan or frying pan (the latter is better, as cookware with a thick bottom positively affects the taste of the finished dish).

Step 3

3. Finely chop the garlic and add it to the meat as well. Add spices and herbs to taste. Simmer the meat over low heat for an hour and a half. Then add the sauerkraut and sour cream. Mix everything and simmer for another 10 minutes.

Step 4

4. Instead of sour cream, you can use heavy cream. The dish is ready when the meat becomes tender. On average, it simmers for about 2 hours.

Step 5

5. Serve in portions as a standalone dish, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
